Skyline by Trumark Homes
Skyline is a new waterfront townhome community at 1953 Grand Street in Alameda, California. Built by Trumark Homes, the community is planned for 90 townhome-style condominiums with a mix of two- and three-bedroom layouts, priced from the low $1 millions. Set along Alameda’s northern waterfront, Skyline gives residents a newer housing option close to the water while still keeping Park Street, local parks, restaurants, and the rest of the Island within easy reach.
Inside the Homes at Skyline
Skyline offers five different floor plans ranging from about 1,754 to 2,164 square feet. The homes feature open-concept living spaces, giving residents flexibility for working from home, hosting friends and family, or simply having a little more room to spread out. Depending on the floor plan, homes include two or three bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, and one- or two-car garages. Homes come with Bosch stainless steel kitchen appliances, 9-foot ceilings on the first and third levels, and 10-foot ceilings on the second level in most plans. Solar is available to purchase or lease.
Rooftop Decks & Waterfront Views
One of Skyline’s standout features is its private rooftop decks. Select homes include elevated outdoor space with views of the Bay and San Francisco skyline, creating an easy place to relax, watch the sunset, or gather with friends. The waterfront setting is a big part of what sets Skyline apart from many of Alameda’s more traditional residential neighborhoods.
Close to Park Street & Local Favorites
Living at Skyline also puts residents close to Park Street, one of Alameda’s main dining, shopping, and gathering areas. Local favorites like The Star on Park, Ole’s Waffle Shop, and Burma Superstar are nearby, along with coffee shops, boutiques, specialty stores, and places for everyday errands. Park Street also hosts local events and seasonal activities, making it an easy place to spend an afternoon or evening.
Marinas, Trails & Outdoor Space Nearby
Skyline’s waterfront location also puts residents close to some of Alameda’s best outdoor spaces. Grand Marina sits next to the community, with Mosley’s Cafe nearby along the estuary. Jean Sweeney Open Space Park is about a 15-minute walk or a short bike ride west, with the Cross Alameda Trail providing an easy connection. The park offers plenty of room for walking, biking, picnicking, and spending time outdoors.
What the HOA Covers
Skyline’s HOA dues cover landscape maintenance, exterior building maintenance including the roof and paint, upkeep of all common areas, management, and building insurance. Homeowners are responsible for their own services, such as water and sewer, trash and recycling, electricity, internet, and any solar lease.
Current Development Status
Skyline is currently open for sales, with model homes available to tour at 1953 Grand Street. Move-in ready homes are available, and Trumark periodically offers financing incentives, so contact the Skyline sales team for current offers. The 90-home community is still being built in phases, with individual home completions and move-ins continuing through late 2026 and into spring 2027.
As construction moves forward, more of Skyline’s planned waterfront townhomes will continue to become available, gradually completing this newer residential pocket along Alameda’s northern waterfront.
